I don’t understand the part that says, ‘Suggest a value for δ as small as possible, such that the proof of convergence holds for the computed results.’ I think δ, can be infinitely small as long as it’s greater than 0? So, what does ‘suggest a value for δ’ actually mean, or am I misunderstanding the question?
From my interpretation, I think it means “order of convergence” also has meaning in another context, but shouldn’t be confused with that context. That by “order of convergence” we stick to rate of convergence, instead of that other context, if that make sense.

I still don’t understand the δ part, I think it can be infinitely small as long as it’s greater than 0? So how could give a fixed as small as possible value?
